What we weld in stainless steel
- Exhausts and pipework: complete systems and sections, see custom and performance exhausts.
- Pipe and tube work: joins, bends and fittings.
- Custom parts and repairs: for automotive, industrial and custom projects, see custom fabrication.
TODO: typical stainless steel jobs to list (owner to confirm), e.g. tanks, brackets, railings, equipment repairs
Why TIG for stainless steel?
TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding gives fine control over heat and a neat, precise weld bead. That matters on thin-wall tube, where too much heat burns through or distorts the metal, and on work that will be seen. TIG is slower than MIG welding, but on stainless steel the finish and strength are worth it.
Which stainless steel?
The most common grade, 304, suits most automotive and general work. Grade 316 resists corrosion better, so it’s the usual choice near the sea and around chemicals. If you’re not sure what you have or need, send a photo and tell us where the part will be used.

Feel free to drop us a WhatsApp and see how we can help. A photo or drawing of the part, rough measurements, the material if you know it, and what it’s for all help. For a repair, a photo of the damage is useful.
